One thing I have found with Kent’s writing is the fact that I can get lost within the world that she has created and it is much needed right now。 Kent weaves something so unputdownable and I am here for it。 This one is intense and raw in so many ways。 Especially with Nicole。 So much comes to light with her and you cannot help but love her by the time you close this book。 Add Daniel and so many questions are answered but some still linger。 But seeing the character development of them is just ever One thing I have found with Kent’s writing is the fact that I can get lost within the world that she has created and it is much needed right now。 Kent weaves something so unputdownable and I am here for it。 This one is intense and raw in so many ways。 Especially with Nicole。 So much comes to light with her and you cannot help but love her by the time you close this book。 Add Daniel and so many questions are answered but some still linger。 But seeing the character development of them is just everything。 Love it or hate it， this book did them both justice。 。。。more

Another great addition to this series Nicole has been running from her past for years。 Until she arrives at her new job， she thought she would never see Daniel again。 Only fate has other plans…These two characters love to hate each other， but their chemistry is off the charts。 I devoured this story in one sitting。 It wasn’t dark， but was an exciting read。 Really enjoyed it！

First off I want to tip my hat off to Rina Kent。 They way your books are intertwined and waived together is amazing。 We meet Daniel and Nicole’s in Cruel King。 When I tell you I was crying through this book with how much these two went through。 Dan was we seen through the Empire series is not the same boy we met in Cruel King。 Nicole my heart broke for Nicole as we saw everything。 The two of them together amazing。 This book was perfect。 I can't wait for Empire of Lust。 If you want to start her w First off I want to tip my hat off to Rina Kent。 They way your books are intertwined and waived together is amazing。 We meet Daniel and Nicole’s in Cruel King。 When I tell you I was crying through this book with how much these two went through。 Dan was we seen through the Empire series is not the same boy we met in Cruel King。 Nicole my heart broke for Nicole as we saw everything。 The two of them together amazing。 This book was perfect。 I can't wait for Empire of Lust。 If you want to start her with Rina Kent just know you might get major spoilers from her other books。 I recommend her books and will say these book is a need on any TBR。 。。。more

canvas， ready to make up my own mind of what I thought of them and their story。This emotionally charged story dripping with so much angst and emotional turmoil tugged on your heart strings non-stop throughout the whole story。 Never allowing you to go one moment without feeling the deeply raw and vastly overwhelming rush of emotions that came gushing out from each and every page。 Rina Kent definitely made the pages bleed with everything that Nicole and Daniel were dealing with。 On top of their feelings that were constantly expressed at every corner， given the events that led to this from some intense situations that took place。 Considering the depth to the nitty grittiness that was explored within all the emotions and feelings， it had you feeling like you were in the story。 Experiencing every single thing that Nicole and Daniel were， as if you were standing in their place yourself。Plus with the constant drama that was always a-go， you couldn’t help but be reeled in。 Only to then fall down the rabbit hole that was Nicole， Daniel and their destructive relationship that was constantly on the ups and downs。 Like driving through a never ending road full of bumps。 The amount of tension that carried through this narrative was unbelievable。 And the fact that at times the intensity grew within it had your heart racing faster than ever。 Especially considering at times it led to moments of being hit by a freight train from the impact of the outcome between Nicole and Daniel that occurred in causing it。Rina Kent definitely gave her all in writing this book， from the get go you could see she poured everything she had including her heart and soul to bring Nicole and Daniel’s story to life。 And doing them justice in their wild， tempestuous， catastrophe rollercoaster ride that was their adventurous journey， given everything that took place all throughout。 Including suspenseful moments surrounding mysteries that were at play from the secrets both were keeping and hiding from each other and others。 Ultimately paving the way for some shocking moments that were heartbreakingly painful， saddening， traumatic and tragic to say the least。Poor Nicole！ Regardless of who she may have been in the past， it didn’t stop or not allow me to feel ultimate sympathy for her。 With how much she had changed over time， she proved not only that people do change。 But that they deserve a second chance， something she definitely deserved。 Especially with knowing all the sacrifices she made for others， it had me applauding for her。My heart truly broke for her too， given all that she had endured over time。 Yes she had made mistakes， but that didn’t mean she deserved what had happened to her。 Yet the fact that she pushed through it to try and move on， not allowing it to affect her life showcased that she was stronger than she looked。 For that she deserved props， since it definitely wasn’t easy given her rough journey to reach her HEA。While Daniel may have been an arrogant， jackass， douchebag at times。 You could see it was just a front he used to cover up what he was hiding on the inside。 That being his true emotions and feelings in regards to not only Nicole， but his family too。 That’s something he couldn’t be blamed for， considering the life he had been living for 11 years。 It’s what had me feeling sympathy for him， even more so when revelations come to light causing him further pain for the hand he played in it unknowingly。 My heart definitely broke for him and can’t lie it had me wanting to give him a hug at that point too。If there was ever a book of Rina’s that needs to be HIGH RECOMMENDED Empire of Hatewould be it！A job well done to Rina Kent for writing a truly amazing story between Daniel and Nicole in this Second Chance Romance between the Queen B and Athlete。 It was truly unbelievably Amazing， Beautiful and Incredible。It has me excited for the next book Empire of Lustand seeing how Kingsley Shaw’s story will play out。*I received an ARC
